The series is a reboot of the 1985 television series of the adventures of a group of cat-like humanoid aliens living on the planet Third Earth, and Lion-O’s ascension to the Thunderian throne. Brave Prince Lion-O goes up against the evil Mumm-Ra in the premiere of this animated reboot of the classic 1980s cartoon about feline-human hybrids fighting the forces of evil. Later, a betrayal leaves Cat Kingdom open to an attack by Mumm-Ra.
